Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara Steps Down Over Sexual Misconduct Investigation Involving British Actress

Warner Bros chief Kevin Tsujihara, has stepped down amid an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct. He is alleged to have offered to promote the career of British actress Charlotte Kirk, with whom he was having a sexual relationship.

In a statement by WarnerMedia, the actress through her spokesperson publicly denied any impropriety in her casting.

The CEO of WarnerMedia, John Stankey, said that Kevin stepped down as the chairman in the best interest of the company and everyone working under it.

“Kevin has contributed greatly to the studio’s success over the past 25 years and for that we thank him,” he added.

In a statement released by Tsujihara about his departure, he said, “I love this company and the people that make it great. I have been honored to head this organisation and work alongside all of its talented employees of the past 25 years.”

“Together we’ve build this studio into an unequivocal leader in the industry. However, it has become clear that my continued leadership could be a distraction and an obstacle to the company’s continued success. The hard work of everyone within our organisation is truly admirable, and I won’t let media attention on my past distract from all the great work the team is doing,” the 54-year-old said.

The personal lawyer of Tsujihaha’s also stated that Mr Tsujihara had no direct role in the hiring of this actress.

Ugandan Police Detain Bobi Wine, Clash With Supporters

Uganda police has arrested member of parliament and popular musician Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine.

Wine and his supporters clashed with police after authorities cancelled his Easter music shows in Kampala, Arua and Lira.

Tension ensued after police blocked a procession led by Bobi Wine at his One Love Beach Ini Busabala.  He was arrested and whisked away o an unknown location.  Another singer, Nubian Li, who was in the same vehicle with Wine, was not arrested.

Ugandan president, Yoweri Museveni, says he will not tolerate music shows that are laced with politics.  He warns that nobody will be compensated in the future for shows that have been cancelled because of politics.

But he gave a two-billion-shilling compensation to members of Uganda music promoters and venue owners network for their losses from the police cancellations of Bobi Wine concerts.

Los Angeles Police Arrest Nipsey Hussle's Killing Suspect Eric Holder

Nearly after 48-hour manhunt, police arrested the suspect believe to be responsible to have gunned down Nipsey Hussle in front of the popular rapper’s South Los Angeles clothing store. Holder was apprehended in the Los Angeles suburb of Bellflower on Tuesday afternoon.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to CBS2 that 29-year-old Eric Holder was caught by deputies. Los Angeles police told CBS2 they were responding to confirm the suspect’s identity as Holder.

Holder is likely to be charged with killing Hussle and to make his first appearance in front of a judge in the next two days.

Police said a tip from a citizen led them to the suspect. Holder was announced as a suspect Monday night by the authorities.
