APGA, Accord Party Show Displeasure With NEBG Over Vice Presidential Debate

Complaints against the Nigeria Election Debate Group were also registered on Wednesday by the presidential candidates of the Accord Party, and All Progressives Grand Alliance, for excluding their vice-presidential candidates from the debate.

Vice presidential candidates from only five political parties were allowed in the debate. Accord party presidential candidate, Isaac Ositelu, said in a statement, all candidates contesting in the general elections should have been allowed to be in the debate. He said disallowing them from participating denied the candidates the opportunity to present their platforms to Nigerians.
