Kevin Spacey Charged With Indecent Assault

Oscar-winning actor, Kevin Spacey, has been charged in connection with an allegation that he sexually abused an eighteen-year-old boy at a bar more than two years ago.

A court document shows the actor will be arraigned at Nantucket district court early in January on a single charge of indecent assault and battery on a person who is at least fourteen years old.

Spacey released a video on Youtube on Monday asking people not to rush to judgments without facts. The three-minute video makes no specific reference to the Massachusetts allegation.

Los Angeles Police Arrest Nipsey Hussle's Killing Suspect Eric Holder

Nearly after 48-hour manhunt, police arrested the suspect believe to be responsible to have gunned down Nipsey Hussle in front of the popular rapper’s South Los Angeles clothing store. Holder was apprehended in the Los Angeles suburb of Bellflower on Tuesday afternoon.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to CBS2 that 29-year-old Eric Holder was caught by deputies. Los Angeles police told CBS2 they were responding to confirm the suspect’s identity as Holder.

Holder is likely to be charged with killing Hussle and to make his first appearance in front of a judge in the next two days.

Police said a tip from a citizen led them to the suspect. Holder was announced as a suspect Monday night by the authorities.

Chicago Police Dropped Charges Against Jussie Smollett

Prosecutors in Chicago have on Tuesday dropped all criminal charges against Hollywood actor, Jussie Smollett who was accused of staging a hate crime against himself in January.

The ‘Empire’ actor appears at an emergency court hearing Tuesday morning, where the case was dismissed.

The 36-year-old actor who had faced 16 counts of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report, which is a felony in Illinois.

Smollett’s attorneys say the actor’s record has been “wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him.”

In a statement, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office said, “after reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond ($10,000) to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”

A spokesman for the Chicago Police Department referred all questions to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, which cited Smollett’s community service in explaining its decision to drop the charges.

During a press conference Smollett said, “I’ve been truthful and consistent on every level since day one.” He added that, ” I would not be my mother’s son if I was capable of even one drop of what I have been accused of.”
