Nigerian Army Has Better Equipment Than Boko Haram - Usman

The Nigerian Army says reports that Boko Haram fighters were better equipped than its soldiers are not true and dismissed them as propaganda and psychological warfare against troops.

Army spokesman, Brigadier-General Sani Kukasheka Usman, has issued a statement that addressed various issues and concerns about the ongoing counter-insurgency war in Nigeria’s north east.  In it, the army accused those it calls misguided elements in the society, of waging psychological warfare against it.
